Missions: Every Nation, Tribe, and People WEEK 1

Feb 2, 2025

This sermon series explores the what, why, and where of missions, helping us understand and fulfill our purpose as Jesus intended.

We will begin by defining missions—God’s invitation for His people to participate in His redemptive work through the gospel of Jesus. We'll also examine the role of missionaries, who are sent to share the good news of Christ, reminding us that all believers are missionaries in some capacity.

Next, we'll explore why we support missionaries, recognizing our role in advancing the mission through prayer, financial giving, and active participation in God’s ministry of reconciliation.

Finally, we'll discuss the importance of maintaining a mission emphasis, ensuring that God's mission remains central in our hearts and minds. Through Scripture, we will see how missions keep us connected to God’s global work, encourage prayerful support for one another, and inspire us to listen and respond to God’s movement in the world.

Join us as we align our hearts with God’s mission and step into our calling as world changers!
